Khaosdog Zuni

One of my first soapstone carvings.

Material used: dark gray soapstone, knives and rasps to carve, a dog tooth which is attached to his back and ice blue fake crystals as eyes.
Time taken: 2-3 hours maybe
Completly done by hand.

Farewell

Another photomanipulation. The sunset was taken on the meadow behind our property, the rocks and the wolves were drawn freehand in Photoshop later.

Wolftooth replica amulet

A wolf tooth replica my father gave to me.

If I use animal parts for amulets, it's either replicas or it's from animals who died a natural death. I often roam the nearby forests and collect feathers, bones and teeth for my ornaments.
It's a horn of a deer/antelope (or the alike), which my father found in Afrika during one of his expeditions.

He and Maxx are brothers by blood and by heart. They live in an abandoned factory with a bunch of other mutants. He looks quite alike just that his claws are shorter and he doesn't have hackles on his back legs. He has the same form as Maxx; long-legged and big pawed, but isn't as thin as his brother. In comparison to his siblings, he never had any color markings. Like all K-Dogs he has an id chip in his left ear.

I'll post some more background infos about the Khaosdogs later, why those mutant freak dogs were created, how they escaped the laboratory...
But it's past midnight now and I have to work tomorrow.

Special abilities: heals very quickly;
some parts of his body are bioluminescent, like the claws/bones and his neckfur.

No, they didn't feed him glow sticks. =D
He's a lab experiment created during illegal experiments in a secret lab somewhere in Germany.

Ornaments:
Maxx sometimes is seen with numerous, random jewelry and such, like earrings and bracelets. He usually has bandages around some parts of his body because he get's himself into trouble quite often.

Physical things:
He’s relatively skinny and long-legged, but sturdy with large paws and extremely long claws and spurs on all 4 legs. He is missing a big chunk out of his left ear because he wanted to get rid of the id chip he got implanted in the laboratory.
His fur is very short on the legs and the face, but long and fuzzy on his neck, tail and back.

The gait of a Khaosdog is a double suspension gallop
(all 4 feet are off the ground in flexion and extension)
which makes them extremly fast and endurance runners.
Movement at a trot can give the appearance of floating over the terrain and their steps are usually completly silent.

Kronos

It has been ages since I drew Kronos. But since he's a character I really cling to, I don't want to just forget him.

Finished this morning in about 3 and a half hour. Photoshop 6 and Wacom tablet as usuall, airbrush tool, smudgetool and a little burn and dodge tool for the shadows and highlights.

He's a husky/wolf hybrid by the way. And usually he has lot's of earrings, blue and golden hoops, but I was to lazy to draw them.
